Just a quick post from my drive home this evening. Sunset has definitely been moving earlier and earlier in our Alaskan evenings. Soon “evening” will be replaced by “afternoons” for sunset time. But for now, it’s awefully convenient to have sunset at this time. Don’t need to stay up late to catch it (unlike summer times…) and we have really beautiful “termination dust” on top of the mountains. Termination dust is the sure sign that summer has ended, fall is in full swing, and winter is mere minutes away. This was taken from an off ramp, following the Glenn Highway as it curves towards Palmer, Alaska. Hoping we’ll get similar skies this weekend, as we have a full moon coming up.
Take care & keep shooting!
